Pinoys have enough self-image issues with skin tone already and passing this racist stereotype to the younger set is just deplorable. Where's your heart, kapuso?

Nita Negrita: Blatant Racism and Insensitivity on Philippine Television
This show Nita Negrita is one of the most offensive things you can see on Philippine TV. It's very insensitive and demeaning. I wonder how many pinoy children with dark-skinned will go through this school year being taunted endlessly as "Nita Negrita."
